Alpha Psi Delta Today

With over 110 undergraduate members, we are one of the largest Alphas in Chi Psi. The Alpha achieves a nearly 100% bid acceptance rate and maintains an equal split of in-state and out-of-state members to reflect the broader CU Boulder community. Brothers are engaged in all areas of campus life and in the local community.

Psi Delta’s legacy of leadership extends to the CU Boulder community through the University of Colorado Student Government (CUSG) and has had ten Brothers serve as Tri-Executive leaders since 2010. As Tri-Executives, these Brothers manage a $34 million budget and represent the 36,000 students at CU Boulder. Psi Delta has also been represented in the IFC on the Hill Executive Board, with several Brothers serving in various roles, including as the President of the IFC on the Hill.

Just as we did, our undergraduate Brothers share a close bond and are nurturing lifelong relationships. Alumni involvement has always been a hallmark of our success and this continues today with strong support from our alumni leadership. With over 1,200 living alumni, we certainly have a Brotherhood worthy of support.

Our Needs and Opportunities

To remain a competitive option in the CU Greek Community, we must be financially able to address the ongoing maintenance and capital needs of our Lodge, and offer a home that is a safe and attractive housing option.  This is more important than ever as the University enhances and adds amenities to residence halls; as high-quality off-campus housing options become available; and especially as other fraternities make significant improvements to their houses.

To ensure the financial stability and longevity of the Lodge as our home at CU, we seek to raise $2 million for two primary purposes: to fund future renovations and system upgrades as well as provide an educational endowment to ensure Psi Delta’s involvement in national programming and valuable educational programs. 2025 will mark 40 years since renovation was completed on the Lodge following the arson fires in 1985. The Lodge provides valuable space for the Brotherhood to facilitate academic study, Brotherhood activities, daily meals, and our ritual. These activities cause wear and tear on the building, and our Lodge needs significant upgrades.

In addition to raising $1 Million to fund crucial Lodge renovations and upgrades, we seek to raise an additional $1 Million to create the Centennial Endowment, honoring over 100 years of Psi Delta’s Brotherhood. This commitment to education will ensure that each Psi Delta Brother participates in national programming, has access to first-class study rooms, and can address ongoing IT needs. The Centennial Endowment will guarantee student attendance at interfraternal conferences and leadership seminars to prepare our men for excellence. Finally, the endowment will provide for a live-in graduate mentor and tutoring program, demonstrating our commitment to academic success.
